The faceted acrylic really does catch the light like ice, and the carved wood has a smooth, unexpected warmth. It feels substantial and artful without being overwhelming on the wall.

Mounted this in our hallway and the carved solid wood catches light in a way I didn't expect from a sconce. Even switched off it looks like a small sculpture rather than a light fixture.

The sandblasted acrylic gives off a soft, even glow that's perfect for reading in bed without waking my partner. Only wish the wood had a bit more visible grain variation, since mine looks slightly plainer than the photos suggested. Still, it feels solid and well made for the price.
