The powdercoated shell has just the right weight, and the soft acrylic glow really does feel like a pearl sitting in its mantle. I put it in the hallway near our beach-themed guest room and it casts such a gentle, warm light at night. Exactly the coastal vibe I was hoping for.

Finally got around to mounting this in the reading nook, and the way the light glows through that soft acrylic mantle is exactly what I hoped for. The brushed finish on the metal shell looks more refined in person than the photos showed.

Installed this in my hallway last week and the soft acrylic glow is exactly what I wanted—warm without being harsh. The brushed finish hides fingerprints well, which is a nice bonus.
