The shape of the moon’s orbit forms an ellipse around the earth. Three haloed discs represent the moon in its Gibbous phase as it enters and exits the Full Moon. Like the phases of the moon affect the tides by drawing earth's water towards it, the dynamic shape and form of the light draws your attention.

Daniel E. ★★★★★

I was worried the three discs might look cluttered, but they float at different depths and create this beautiful layered glow that shifts as you walk by. It’s like having a slow, silent moonrise in my living room every evening.

James Z. ★★★★★

The triple halo discs cast such a gentle, warm glow that my living room feels like it’s stuck in a permanent golden hour. I love how each ring sits at a slightly different depth—it really captures that gibbous phase look without being too literal.

Penelope G. ★★★★★

I plugged it in and the soft, diffused glow from the three haloed discs really does evoke a gibbous moon. The staggered ellipses create a calming, almost hypnotic light pattern in my living room.
