Story
Specs

An isthmus is a narrow strip of land with sea on either side, a natural-occurring geography with a powerful visual presence. Isthmus abstracts this resonant form into a solid wood bench that adds prominence and poetry to the space. A molten-looking metal trestle bolsters the full-width legs — a classic wood joinery reimagined in metal.

James ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

That solid wood construction really holds its own visually — the narrow form reads almost like a sculpture from across the room. It’s sturdy enough for daily use but light enough to move around when we rearrange the space.

Richard ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

The narrow silhouette fits our entryway perfectly without overwhelming the space. I love how the solid wood construction already shows subtle grain variation that catches the light differently throughout the day.

Alexander ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

The way the solid wood grain flows across the seat is stunning, almost like a landscape. It’s surprisingly comfortable for such a minimalist design, and it instantly anchors the room.
