STALA Pendant

I hung this in my reading nook and the hand-blown glass sphere really does look like a suspended drop of water; it’s even more delicate and captivating in person than the photos suggested.

The turned wooden spheres catch the light in such a way that the whole piece feels like it’s slowly ticking downward, and the glass drop at the end really does look suspended mid-fall. I’ve caught myself just staring at the way the shadows play across the spheres from different spots in the room. It

The hand-blown glass sphere looks especially good at night when it's the only light on in the room, sort of like a drop of water frozen in place. Installation took me about twenty minutes, and the wooden spheres feel solid and well-finished.
